About Mr. Guerrero

Mr. Guerrero has been working with Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez for many years. As a surgeon, Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez utilizes the expertise of Physician Assistants to help in the identification and treatment of many conditions. Mr. Guerrero may initially evaluate you and recommend certain tests to be performed prior to considering surgical treatments.

A graduate from The University of Texas Medical Branch, Mr. Guerrero has been practicing medicine since 2002. While his focus has been in upper extremity orthopedic surgery for over 15 years, he also manages a wide range of other medical conditions. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistant and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.

Physician Assistants are licensed health professionals who practice medicine and provide a wide range of medical and surgical services as part of their comprehensive responsibilities. PA’s conduct physical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventative health care, perform simple and complex procedures, and prescribe medications.
